The Hoover Dam
The Hoover Dam represents American values from the Gilded Age to the New Deal. Nationalism was a dominant value that many Americans had, and was shown in the dam. It was something to be proud of because nothing like this had ever been done before. This structure arose during the Great Depression, when people had to struggle to survive they came together for an job. The government had to change it's role in order to provide this opportunity for citizens. This entire project shows that Americans can be successful in whatever they do, and nothing can stop them.
